The next step is to test fit the card. I used an old riser card to do this. Do not plug this into a motherboard that is connected to a power supply, or you may short out the standby voltages and fry your system. Use an old motherboard, or a riser card like this that you do not care about.
The circuit card has one VIA for the +12 Volt connection to the PCI slot. This VIA has to be marked before etching to line up the traces on both sides of the board.
